UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Saturday that the UK will offer COVID-19 vaccine doses to all adults by the end of July.
The current vaccine rollout in the UK approved its success as more than 17 million persons who suffer from various medical issues and aged over 50 have received at least the first dose of the vaccine until now.
Adults will be vaccinated after finalizing the current vaccination campaign as people aged 50 will receive the COVID-19 vaccine on April 15.
He stated: "We will now aim to offer a jab to every adult by the end of July, helping us protect the most vulnerable sooner, and take further steps to ease some of the restrictions in place."
Ministers hope to offer vaccines to all adults by September who aged 50 and under. The plan of the upcoming vaccination campaign and its priority groups will be prepared during Johnson's meeting with the senior ministries on Monday.
Through the meeting, the prime minister would finalize the plan to ease the current restrictions in the UK.
"But there should be no doubt - the route out of lockdown will be cautious and phased, as we all continue to protect ourselves and those around us," he explained.
Johnson hopes to re-open all schools in England in March despite pandemic concerns.
The UK was the first country to launch a national-wide vaccination campaign last December using the Pfizer vaccine.
Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, and Queen Elizabeth received COVID-19 vaccines this year.
