Algerian Minister of Trade, Tayeb Zitouni and his Ugandan counterpart, Francis Mwebesa, discussed on Friday ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries, in Kampala.
This came during the Algerian minister's official visit to Uganda, heading an important delegation of businessmen.
During his visit, Zitouni affirmed his country's commitment to strengthening the economic partnership between the two countries and encouraging trade exchanges and joint investments in various sectors in implementation of the directives of the Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
For his part, Mwebesa stressed that his country will work to provide a suitable environment for business and encourage Algerian investments in Uganda, adding that the doors of the Ugandan market are open to Algerian traders.
