Algerian Foreign Minister (FM) Ahmed Attaf held talks with his Chadian counterpart Mohamed Saleh Nadif and Somali Deputy Prime Minister (PM) Saleh Ahmed Jama, and the latest developments in the political and security situation in Sahel-Saharan region.
This came on the sidelines of his participation in the 37th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU), hosted in Addis Ababa.
Algerian FM's bilateral talks with the Chadian Foreign Minister dealt with ways to consolidate bilateral cooperation between the two countries and exchange visions on the latest developments in the political and security situation in Sahel-Saharan region.
Moreover, Attaf's meeting with the Somali Deputy Prime Minister witnessed prospects for strengthening bilateral relations. They also exchanged visions about the current conditions in the regions of the two countries' affiliation and agreed to enhance consultation and coordination in international and regional forums.
