Algerian Foreign Minister (FM) Ahmed Attaf discussed with his US Counterpart Antony Blinken the developments in the Gaza Strip, particularly the ongoing negotiations within the Security Council regarding the draft resolution submitted by the Group of Ten Elected Members of the Council (E-10)
This came during a phone call between Algerian FM, and Blinken,according to a statment by Algerian Foreign Ministry.
The statement clarified that the draft resolution is an Algerian initiative, adding that Algeria negotiated its content with other members of the Security Council.
Furthermore, the statement added that phone call falls within the framework of preparing for the upcoming vote on the draft resolution in the Security Council.
