Algerian Foreign Minister (FM) Ahmed Ataf arrived today, Saturday, in the Ghanaian capital, Accra, at the end of his African tour that included Nigeria and Benin.
Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo received Ataf, who conveyed to him the greetings of his brother, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
Moreover, Algerian FM conveyed to him a message about the crisis in Niger and the prospects for intensifying and unifying efforts to promote the foundations of a peaceful solution that spares this country and the countries of the region the repercussions of a possible escalation of the situation.
In addition, Ghanaian president commended Algeria's important role and efforts to make an effective contribution to putting an end to Niger crisis.
