Algeria and Iran agreed upon resuming the diplomatic ties between both countries once again, Al Arabiya reported on Saturday.
Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that he agreed with his Algerian counterpart Ahmed Attaf to resume diplomatic ties, alongside re-opening the embassies.
The Iranian foreign minister said that the relations between Iran and Algeria are on the right track, highlighting that they discussed several issues including visa issuance.
The top Iranian diplomat called for developing cooperation between Tehran and Algiers in various fields.
