Algerian Foreign Minister (FM) Ahmed Attaf met with his Chadian counterpart, Mohammed Saleh Al-Nazeef, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations and developments in the Palestinian territories.
The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that this meeting took place at the headquarters of the Ministry in the capital, Algiers, between the Algerian FM and his Chadian counterpart, who is visiting Algeria to participate in the 20th Ministerial Meeting of African and Northern European Countries.
The two sides agreed, during the meeting, on a number of steps to strengthen Algerian-Chadian relations, particularly the organization of the next session of the Joint Cooperation Committee between the two countries early next year, and the intensification of communication between economic operators in both countries to exploit the opportunities offered by the Continental Free Trade Area.
The two sides also exchanged views on the serious developments in the Palestinian issue, as well as on the latest developments in the Sahel region.
