Algerian Foreign Minister (FM) Ahmed Attaf discussed with Chairman of African Union (AU) Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat, and African Union (AU) Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security, Bankole Adeoye, developments in political and security situation on the continent.
The two meetings came on the sidelines of the 78th high-level session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
According to a statement by the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two meetings were devoted to cooperation relations between Algeria and African Union (AU) in various fields, as well as exchanging views on developments in the political and security situation on the continent, especially in the Sahel-Saharan region.
