The Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, discussed during a phone call he received on Wednesday from the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Defense Policy Kaja Kallas, developments in the situation in the Middle East region, especially the developments in Syria.
The Algerian News Agency reported that the two sides discussed, during the call, relations between Algeria and the European Union and ways to strengthen them within the framework of moving towards building a balanced partnership that benefits both parties.
