The late veteran actor Farouk Alfishawy had a very close and strong relationship with his granddaughter Leena, who lives with her mother Hend al-Hefnawi in London.

Leena wrote touching words on her Instagram account to condole over her grandfather’s death.
She also posted a number of pictures of her childhood memories with the late actor before moving to London with her mother.

The 15-years old girl expressed her feelings in a condolences message as follows:
“I will miss you. You will always be in my heart and within all others’ hearts to whom you have brought joy and happiness”.
“You have died too young as you will never attend my graduation ceremony, but I know that you will be beside me wherever I go. You have gone to your grave as a hero”.
It is worth mentioning that the prominent Egyptian actor Al-Fishawy died early on Thursday at the age of 67 after a struggle with cancer disease.
Al-Fishawy reportedly entered hospital earlier this week after his condition has suddenly deteriorated. He entered a deep coma due to liver complications on Wednesday.
The Egyptian actor revealed in October 2018, during the opening of the Alexandria Mediterranean Film Festival’s 34th edition, that he has cancer without revealing further information.
The late actor was married to famed actress Somaya El-Alfy. His son Ahmed El-Fishawy is one of the current working prominent actors Egyptian cinema.
The National Theater Festival announced it will honour El-Fishawy during its 12th edition scheduled to be held August 17.
