AlAsoomi: King of Bahrain's Speech Platform for Action to Arab Unity 

President of the Arab Parliament (AP) Adel bin AbdulRahman AlAsoomi paid tribute to the high speech of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, at the Jeddah Security and Development Summit, hosted in Jeddah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the participation of Their Majesties and Highnesses leaders of the Arab States, Egypt, Jordan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, and the United States of America.

AlAsoomi underlined that His Majesty’s address reflected the spirit of wise leadership by emphasizing the importance of joint cooperation and a collective and participatory approach, as the best method to address the current challenges facing the Arab nation.

AlAsoomi underscored that His Majesty's speech is a platform for action to Arab unity and affirms the leading role of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, in supporting the Gulf, Arab and international cohesion in all fields, believing in the unity of purpose, destiny and common interest for the peoples of the Gulf and the Arab States based on His Majesty’s entrenched and consistent policy of supporting all that unites and strengthens joint Arab action in a way that serves the peoples of the region.

The President of the AP stressed that the convening of the Jeddah summit at this exceptional and unprecedented time and the discussion of vital files will have a direct positive impact on the lives of Arab peoples, asking God Almighty to bring success to this summit for the benefit and prosperity of the Arab nation.
