UAE Professional League side Al Wahda football company president Rashed Al Zaabi completely denied the rumors about ongoing negotiations with Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane.
Despite losing the league and Super Cup titles, Mosimane is regarded very highly by the Reds’ fans, having guided them to back-to-back CAF Champions League titles, the CAF Super Cup, the CWC bronze medal, as well as the Egypt Super Cup.
The 57-year-old was approached by his own country to lead the South African national team, an offer he rejected in order to remain at the helm of the Al Ahly.
Rumor had it that Emirati outfit Al Wahda are interested in the South African’s services, but club official Rashed Al Zaabi denied these rumors, claiming they are laughable.
