Within the framework of the preparations and coordination activities for the "Egypt Can by Industry" Conference" in its new version, Lieutenant General Abdul Meniem Al-Toras ", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization(OAI), had received "Nabila Makram", Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs.
The minister and Chairman of the AOI discussed the workshops for youth in various fields of industry, in addition to enhancing cooperation between AOI and the Ministry of Emigration in a number of areas of common interest.
Makram expressed her appreciation for the national role played by the AOI, as it is the largest industrial supporter of the state, and for its participation in implementing national development projects along with achieving the state's plan to deepen local industrialization.
The AOI also aims to localize the advanced technology, and return the national Egyptian industry to its pioneering role in the Arab and African region.
A database of Egyptians abroad:
Makram indicated that the "Egypt Can by Industry" Conference in its new version will keep pace with the vision of the political leadership that is interested in developing the Egyptian industry at the present time.
The Ministry of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs has started creating a database for Egyptians who work in this field abroad.
The minister explained that her ministry will cooperate with all relevant ministries, including Trade and Industry, the Business Sector, Military Production and the Federation of Industries.
She stressed that the success of the previous versions of the conference, and the competition of the Egyptians abroad to share their homeland its concerns and issues, as they are ready to provide their expertise to Egypt
This urges the ministry to continue organizing this conference and allocating its versions to serve development and investment issues and efforts in the Egyptian state, in a way that ultimately serves the goals and priorities of the sustainable development strategy and the "Egypt 2030" vision.
On his part, Al-Toras expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Ministry of Emigration and its support to increase the role of Egyptian experts abroad in all national projects and to link Egyptian investors and Arab brothers to their greater homeland.
Egyptian market needs:
He referred to the strategy of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to open communication channels with scholars and experts to benefit from Egypt's intellectual wealth in the authority's projects developmental.
Al-Toras stressed the importance of implementing the directives of President "Abdel Fattah El-Sisi" to enhance the fields of creativity and launch into future horizons, by making use of the national human potential and communicating with the distinguished Egyptian people locally and internationally.
He added that the AOI has set a strategy represented in adopting new ideas and developing our products, developing human competencies, manufacturing everything that the Egyptian, Arab and African markets need, and exporting Egyptian products that are able to compete internationally.
Furthermore, Dr. Ayman Mussallam, professor of engineering at the University of California, USA, praised the role of the Ministry of Emigration in linking Egyptian experts abroad with their homeland, indicating the willingness of all immigrant scientists to give unlimited expertise to Egypt.
Quality, durability:
On the sidelines of the visit, the Minister of Emigration inspected the Governmental Neighborhood Furniture Exhibition in the Administrative Capital, which is in charge of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in cooperation with a number of companies specialized in manufacturing and supplying furniture to all government headquarters.
She praised the quality of the pieces, which are characterized by quality, durability and attractive shape in accordance with international quality standards.
