Al- Soubaya Troupe Fascinates Ugandan Audience

The religious songs by Al- Soubaya Troupe animated several cities in Uganda.

The event is in line with the initiatives of President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi to promote and strengthen communication with the countries of the African continent, and the Ministry of Culture's celebrations of Egypt presidency of the African Union.

It is a part of the ministry's strategy to build cultural and artistic bridges with African countries.

The troupe has impressed the audience and won the admiration of the Ugandan people who interacted with the Egyptian artists and called for the intensification of such events as a mean of rapprochement between the African peoples and Egypt.

Morover, Shaaban Ramadan Mubaje, the Grand Mufti of Uganda, met with members of the delegation of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture in the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in the capital Kampala. He praised the role of soft power in creating a way of communication between the peoples of the continent.

The Mufti pointed out that the cultural and artistic missions of Egypt reflect the distinguished relations between the two countries and he is looking forward to working together in order to build a bright future.

Minister of Culture Dr. Enas Abdel-Dayem said that the plan of the ministry's celebration was prepared to celebrate the Egyptian chairmanship of the African Union and it is characterized by richness, persity and the multiplicity of innovative creative activities between Egypt and the African countries.

The celebration also highlighted the role of soft power in creating communication among the peoples of the same land, aiming at creating understanding, acquaintance and integration. It also eliminates the distances between the people of the continent.

Abdel Dayem pointed out to the activities of investment to highlight the features of Egyptian civilization and shed light on the kinds of thought, modern art and contemporary dialogue with writers and artists of the continent.
