Sisi Reviews Planning of Diplomatic District

Today, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met with Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, advisor to the President of the Republic for Urban Planning, and heads of other authorities.

The meeting involved reviewing the executive position of many engineering projects at the level of the republic.

 Sisi was briefed on the engineering and construction planning of the diplomatic district in the new administrative capital, which includes the buildings of embassies and international organizations accredited in Cairo.

Sisi also checked the axes linking the administrative capital to all neighbourhoods and sectors of Greater Cairo and the main roads.

Sisi also followed up the executive steps to develop the network of axes and roads at the level of the Republic, directing concerned officials to continue those efforts, to develop the infrastructure of the state.

Moreover, the president directed officials to implement the new system of multi-storey mechanical garages for cars to resolve car congestion issues and to provide traffic fluidity.

Spokesman Bassam Rady added that the meeting also involved reviewing the developments of the global project "Morabt Egypt" for the breeding of purebred Egyptian Arabian horses, which includes an integrated system for all horse-related activities.

The spokesman also added that the meeting tackled the efforts to develop the ancient "Zahra" farm for purebred Arabian horses as the main nucleus of the project.
