The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas Islamic movement, announced Tuesday that it had targeted Israeli forces near the Kerem Shalom land crossing point between the Gaza Strip and Israel.
The Palestinian brigades said in a statement on Telegram: "The Al-Qassam fighters targeted a Zionist foot force near the Kerem Shalom crossing with mortar shells."
Earlier this morning, the Al-Qassam Brigades also announced that it had targeted an Israeli tank and bulldozer in the northwestern Gaza axis with two "Al-Yassin 105" missiles.
The escalation between the Palestinian resistance movements and the Israeli forces continued after Hamas launched, at dawn on Saturday, October 7, the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, in which thousands of rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip at Israel.
On that day Hamas' forces stormed Israeli settlements adjacent to the Gaza Strip and captured a large number of soldiers and Israeli civilians.
