The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced on Friday that its fighters had detonated a minefield, causing deaths and injuries among Israeli forces.
Al-Qassam said on the Telegram platform that it detonated a minefield consisting of 4 barrel bombs and an anti-personnel “television” device in an infantry force and vehicles of the Israeli army north of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The brigades added that the bombing killed and wounded Israeli army forces.
The Palestinian Brigades indicated that an Israeli D-9 bulldozer was targeted with an "Al-Yassin 105" shell north of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in a direct hit.
It also confirmed that it shot down "a Skylark-2 reconnaissance drone that was on an enemy intelligence mission in Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip."
It is noteworthy that on October 7, war broke out between Israel and the Hamas movement, which controls the Gaza Strip, after attacks carried out by the latter on areas and towns surrounding the Gaza Strip.
