The Al-Qassam Brigades (the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement -Hamas) announced that its fighters “targeted a special Israeli platoon, made up of 40 soldiers, who barricaded themselves in a house in the Jabalia al-Balad area, north of the Gaza Strip.”
Al-Qassam explained in a statement on its Telegram channel that it targeted the occupation soldiers with anti-fortified TBG shells which led to all its members being killed or wounded.”
In another statement, Al-Qassam Brigades announced that it had sniped “an Israeli soldier east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.”
The brigades also said that its fighters were able to “detonate an anti-personnel device in a Zionist foot force, killing and wounding it in the Jabal Al-Rayes area east of Gaza City.”
The Brigades also announced the destruction of “9 Israeli vehicles penetrating into the Al-Tuffah and Al-Daraj areas in Gaza City with (Al-Yassin 105) shells, in addition to the destruction of 4 Zionist vehicles penetrating the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City with (Al-Yassin 105) shells.”
