Al Mokawloon Reach CAF CC Last 32 after Thrashing Arta (10-1)

Al Mokawloon demolished AS Arta 10-1 on aggregate to qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup last 32.

The Egyptian club set up a tasty clash against Etoile Sportive du Sahel in the last 32nd round of the tournament.

Ahmed Dawoda opened the scoring after only two minutes through a perfect counter attack. Later, Seif El Din el Geziri netted the second and third goals for the hosts in the 7th minute and in the 10th minute.

Farouk Kabori added the fourth in the 23rd minute through a powerful header; Dawoda scored the fifth after scoring from a very close range.

Mohamed Essam netted the sixth after converting from a penalty spot in the 50th minute.

15 minutes later, Fady Nagah added the 7th goal, Ahmed El Shimi added the 8th in the 72nd minute.

Arta scored their only goal in the 80th minute, but the Egyptian club added their 9th goal in the 89th minute.
