Al-Mashat Opens Egyptian Pavilion at WTM

Tourism Minister Dr. Rania Al-Mashat inaugurated earlier Monday the Egyptian pavilion in World Travel Market (WTM) 2019 London trade show.

The leading global event for the travel industry will run till November 6.

Al Mashat’s participation in WTM will witness intensive activities, including:

1-The official opening of the Egyptian pavilion in the presence of the Egyptian Federation of Tourism chambers representatives and tourist cities' governors.

2- The minister will tour the Egyptian pavilion to meet with exhibiting companies and hotels.

3- Al-Mashat will hold a series of meetings with tour operators in addition to British senior officials and members of Parliament (MPs) to discuss arrangements after the decision taken by the British government to lift flight restrictions on Sharm El Sheikh in South Sinai.

4- She will also hold a number of meetings with tourism specialists in the European market to identify the demands of marketing and promotional trips’ organizers and their proposals to support joint cooperation.

5- The minister will give interviews to a number of international networks and TV channels to review the tourism industry developments in Egypt.

6-Al-Mashat is set to visit King “Tutankhamen” temporary exhibition, inaugurated by Minister of Antiquities Khaled Al-Anani last Friday at Saatchi gallery in London.

Egyptian pavilion in WTM                                                                          

-The Egyptian pavilion is composed of two floors.

-About 56 tourist facilities participate in the pavilion including; 28 hotels, 27 companies as well as Egyptian federation of tourism chambers.

- Each company has a separate screen that allows it to display its own materials.

The World Travel Market (WTM) is held annually in London with the participation of about 5000 exhibitors from different countries.

The remarkable event brings together major tour operators and travel agents and experts from all over the world.
