Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli issued on Saturday a decision no.81/2020 to appoint International Cooperation Minister Dr. Rania Al-Mashat as Egypt's governor at the World Bank and a number of financial institutions.
Al-Mashat was appointed as Egypt's governor at the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa, the Arab Fund, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The minister was also named as Egypt's alternate governor at the African Development Bank, the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the Eastern and Southern African Trade & Development Bank (TDB), and the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development, as well as the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
The decision was published at the official Gazette today.
Moreover, Al-Mashat congratulated Egypt for being one of the World’s 100 Leading "Nation Brands", according to Brand Finance company.
