The President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan expressed to his Holiness Pope Francis, his heartfelt thoughts and wishes for the fastest possible recovery from a surgery that he underwent yesterday, in Rome.
In its statement, the Vatican announced that Pope Francis has undergone successful colon surgery and would remain in the hospital for about seven days.
Al Jarwan affirmed the Council’s supports to His Holiness‘s efforts, wishing him a speedy recovery to resume his activities in spreading peace all over the world
