Arab League Secretary-General has departed for Tokyo on an official visit, during which he will participate in the 5th Arab-Japanese Economic Forum.
He will also engage in a number of meetings and official activities in this regard.
This visit is of particular importance as it marks Aboul Gheit's first official visit since assuming his position.
Jamal Rushdi, the official spokesperson for AL Secretary-General, stated that Aboul Gheit is scheduled to participate in the 5th Arab-Japanese Economic Forum on the 10th and 11th of this month.
The forum is organized by the General Secretariat of the Arab League in collaboration with Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
