Al-Azhar salutes the Egyptian-Qatari efforts to establish a humanitarian truce in G..az…a

Al-Azhar Al-Sharif expresses its appreciation for the Egyptian-Qatari mediation efforts and ‎reaching a humanitarian truce to stop the aggression against our fellows in the G..az..a St..rip, and to ‎ensure the delivery of humanitarian and relief aid to our there.

Al-Azhar thus prays to Allah ‎Almighty that this step shall lead to a complete cessation of the brutal aggr..ession against the ‎rightful owners of the land.‎

Al-Azhar also salutes the stance of all the free people of the world, including Muslims, Christians, ‎Jews, etc., who came out in rejection of the aggression against innocent civilians in Gaza, in ‎support of the P.a.l.es.tinian right, and in denouncement of the practices of the usurping ‎o.c.c.upation and its brutality against the innocent children, women, the elderly, and the innocent. ‎Those people, Al-Azhar asserts, denounce the targeting of hospitals, churches, and homes, and ‎the shelters of the displaced‏.‏

Finally, Al-Azhar encourages all the free people to courageously express position and to exert all ‎possible efforts in pressing on global decision-makers to end this period, which has been a ‎disgrace to all of humanity.‎
