Al-Azhar Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb mourned death of Dr. Ahmed Fathi Sorour, Former Parliament Speaker, who passed away on Friday.
El-Tayyeb affirmed that the deceased was a legal figure and a constitutional encyclopedia who served his country through his tenure in several high-level parliamentary and ministerial positions.
He prayed to Allah - the Most High and Exalted - to have mercy on the deceased and to forgive him, and to grant his family and loved ones patience and solace.
