His Eminence, the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, offered his condolences to the family of the late scholar, Dr. Mohamed Mahrasawi.
His Eminence stopped by Al-Azhar University and entered the condolence hall before heading to Cairo Airport to travel to Luxor, his hometown, to complete the treatment, recover, and rest recommended by doctors after his health deteriorated this week.
His Eminence offered his condolences to the family of Dr. Mahrasawi, in appreciation of the late scholar and in recognition of his distinguished service to his religion and country, and for spreading the message of Al-Azhar.
