The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, on Monday extended warm congratulations to UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the rulers of the Emirates, and the Emirati people on the country’s 54th Union Day.
Al-Tayeb said the anniversary highlights the values of unity and solidarity that shaped the United Arab Emirates since its founding under the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. He praised the UAE’s rapid development and its global leadership in promoting human fraternity and fostering a culture of tolerance.
He prayed for continued security, peace, and prosperity for the UAE and for the wider Arab and Islamic world.
