Al-Asoumi Praises Kuwait As An Inspiring Model in Path of Democracy

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Assoumi, hailed the pioneering achievements of  Kuwait in the path of democratic and comprehensive development.

During his meeting with the Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, Al-Assoumi, also praised Kuwait's pivotal regional and international role under the leadership of Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, and the support of His Highness Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait.

The Arab Parliament Speaker also praised the efforts of Marzouk Ali Al-Ghanim, Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, in supporting Arab parliamentary diplomacy that aims to preserve the capabilities of the Arab nations.

He also highlighted Marzouk's supportive positions in all Arab, regional and international forums, especially with regard to the Palestinian cause, which prove the great and constructive role played by Kuwait in the face of challenges being witnessed by the Arab nations.

During the meeting, they have exchanged views on many issues and files related to Arab affairs, and ways to unify positions regarding them in various international parliamentary forums.

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament stressed that Kuwait has always provided an inspiring model in the path of democracy and the promotion of political participation.
