The Egyptian Professional Football Clubs Association, chaired by Ahmed Diab, in coordination with the Competitions Department led by Amer Hussein, has decided to suspend Al Ahly player Hussein El Shahat for two matches. In addition to the suspension, El Shahat is also set to incur a fine of 20,000 Egyptian pounds for slapping Pyramids FC player, Mohamed Chibi, during their clash yesterday.

In another development, the association has levied a fine of 120,000 Egyptian pounds against Al Masry SC for the damages caused to the stands of the Borg El Arab Stadium. The money from the fine will be used to restore the damages at the stadium.

In addition to this, the association has imposed an additional penalty of 100,000 Egyptian pounds on Al Masry. This fine comes as a result of actions by their supporters following their team's encounter with Ceramica Cleopatra FC in the final of the League Cup. The fine will be paid to the Egyptian Clubs Association.

This latest development in Egyptian football serves as a stern reminder of the importance of maintaining sportsmanlike conduct both on and off the pitch. The sanctions have been met with varying responses from the affected clubs and their fans.
