Al Ahly Malian player Aliou Dieng tested negative for COVID-19 Sunday after following the precautionary measures that are set by the Ministry of Health.
Al Ahly’s midfielder contracted the Corona virus before the CAF Champions League final against Zamalek SC in which Al Ahly were victorious, achieving the ninth CAF Champions League title in the history of the Red Castle.
Dieng is expected to join the team’s full training sessions starting Tuesday after the 2-day rest given to the players following their Egypt Cup coronation.
