Al Ahly to Sign Mohamed Bassam in January

Egypt's former captain Ahmed Hassan said on Wednesday that Ta'laa El Gaish first choice goalkeeper Mohamed Bassam could join Al Ahly in January.

During his program, Hassan said that the manager of goalkeepers in the Red Devils Michel Yakanoni called upon the management to sign Bassam in the winter transfers.

The former Al Ahly midfielder also added that Al Ahly have keen on supporting the position of the goalkeepers in Al Ahly during the upcoming period and Bassam is one of the best goalkeepers in the Egyptian League.

"He was a key player during the Egypt Cup as he led El Gaish to qualify for the final, as well as, delivering great performance during the last season,"

It is worth mentioning that the Red Devils claimed the Egypt Cup for the 37th time in their history after defeating El Gaish on penalties 3-2.
