Al Ahly have requested for fans to attend the CAF Champions League quarterfinal clash against Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca.
Al Ahly advanced to the Champions League quarterfinals after finishing in second place in Group A, ten points behind Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Reds have requested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to allow them to sell all 30,000 available seats for the crucial clash.
In their statement, Al Ahly said that the security forces have proven they can organize large events such as the World Cup qualifier between Egypt and Senegal, which saw an estimated 70,000 fans in attendance.
