Al Ahly announce squad for Ismaily clash

Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane announced on Tuesday the Red Devils' squad for their Wednesday's Egyptian Premier League derby against Ismaily.

The Brazilians of Egypt will host Egypt's champions on Wednesday at 19:30 CLT.

The squad witnessed the return of midfielder Naser Mahmer, who was ruled out of the squad during the last period due to his injury, forward Salah Mohsen, defenders Saad Samir and Ramy Rabia.

Meanwhile, midfielder Walid Soliman and left back Ali Maaloul was out due to their ongoing injury, as well as Aymen Ashraf, Mahmoud Wahid, Taher Mohamed Taher and Hamdy Fathy because of several reasons, including injuries and suspensions.

Also, Kharaba has been excluded from the squad after being suspended for a month because his inappropriate behavior towards head coach.

Al Ahly's squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Mohamed El Shennawy, Ali Lotfi and Mustafa Schubert.

Defenders: Ahmed Ramadan Beckham, Mohamed Hani, Rami Rabia, Yasser Ibrahim, Badr Bannon and Saad Samir.

Midfielders: Nasser Maher, Akram Tawfik, Aliou Diang, Amr Al-Soulia, Mohamed Majdi Afsha and Hussein Al-Shahat, Junior Ajay.

Strikers: Marwan Mohsen, Walter Bwalia, Mohamed Sharif, Salah Mohsen, Ahmed Nabil Kouka.
