Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said on Saturday, that Turkish armed forces will be sent soon to Azerbaijan, according to Sputnik news agency.
In the same context, the Turkish minister said that all work on sending the Turkish ground forces to Azerbaijan has been completed.
'In the near future, our soldiers will be sent to Azerbaijan to perform their duty. The ground forces have completed their training," Anadolu Agency quoted Akara as saying.
It is worth mentioning that, earlier this month, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia signed an agreement to end the military conflict over the disputed enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh.
It follows six weeks of fighting between Azerbaijan and ethnic Armenians.
