Sudan’s military said that intensive air strikes led to the destruction of 240 combat vehicles belonging to the Rapid Support Forces during recent operations in Darfur and Kordofan.
In a statement, the army outlined that the air campaign focused on RSF concentrations, supply routes, and military equipment, resulting in significant losses to RSF mobility across several fronts. The operations were described as part of a broader strategy to weaken RSF presence in key regions.
The military also referenced continued air raids on RSF deployment zones in Darfur and Kordofan, with strikes carried out over multiple locations amid ongoing clashes.
The conflict has triggered a severe humanitarian crisis, with international organizations warning of widespread displacement and deteriorating living conditions in areas affected by the fighting. Independent verification of developments remains difficult due to limited access to conflict zones.
