Air Pollution, Recycling Top Environment Minister, IMF Talks

CAIRO, Nov. 28 (SEE)- Minister of Environment Yasmine Fouad met with International Monetary Fund’s delegation chaired by Caren Kamber and discussed coordination mechanisms between the Egyptian government and IMF with an aim to protect the environment

Fouad tackled with the delegation the possibility of cooperation in the field of recycling and reduction of air pollution.

The meeting comes within the framework of a series of discussions and meetings with representatives of the IMF during the past months to discuss likely points of cooperation and mechanisms.

The minister stressed that reducing the air pollution is an urgent issue which needs a new prospective.
