The Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University has launched the Law and Energy conference, bringing together a distinguished group of academic, legal, and international figures.
The opening session features speeches by Dean Yassin El-Shazly, Ethan Durand, Head of International Partnerships at the University of Essex Law School, and Anne Pizar, Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation in Egypt.
Member of Parliament Mohamed Abou El-Enein is also among the keynote speakers.
The event includes contributions from former Petroleum Minister Abdullah Ghorab and Counselor Hussein Madkour, President of the State Lawsuits Authority, alongside a wide range of legal experts and officials.
Attendees began arriving early at the Faculty of Law, reflecting strong interest in the conference, which aims to explore the intersection of legal frameworks and energy sectors, as well as address current global challenges in the field.
