Ahmed Mousa Denies COVID-19 Infection Rumors

On Saturday, Well-known TV Presenter Ahmed Mousa denied being infected with COVID-19, wishing a speedy recovery for all patients.

In press statements to a local newspaper, Mousa affirmed that "he is fine, and not infected with Coronavirus."

"I am on my way to Media production city at 6th of October city... and my talk show will be premiered as usual at 7:00 pm," he added.

Moreover, the prominent anchor shared a post on his official page on "Facebook" to reassure all about his health.

He said, "I want to express my thanks and gratitude to all those who asked about me either in Egypt and abroad.. Thank God, I am not infected with Coronavirus," wishing a speedy recovery for all infected people.

Mousa added that traitors and electronic committees affiliated with the "terrorist gang" are the ones who always promote these spiteful rumors.

On Friday, Egypt saw a rise in the daily coronavirus cases, confirming 1,113 new infections, raising the total cases to 130,126 since the beginning of the virus outbreak.

“Forty-nine more deaths were confirmed; raising the total number to 7,309,” Khaled Megahed, the Health Ministry’s spokesman, said in a statement.
