The makers of Egyptian actor Ahmed Ezz’s new play "Aladdin" has unveiled its posters, which is scheduled to make its debut, this December, within the activities of Riyadh Season, in Saudi Arabia.
Aladdin co-stars Ahmed Ezz, Tara Emad, Mohamed Tharwat, Hisham Ismail, Karim Afifi, Mohamed Gomaa, Samy Maghawry, and Islam Ibrahim.
The play is directed by Magdy El Hawary and scripted by a writing workshop that consists of Hassan El Mahdi, Mohamed Galal, Mohamed Talaat, Ahmed Chico, and Diaa Mohamed.
The posters featured Ahmed Ezz, Tara Emad, Mohamed Tharwat, Hisham Ismail, Mohamed Gomaa, Samy Maghawry, and Islam Ibrahim.
The Riyadh season had attracted over five million visitors since its launch. It witnessed the performances of major stars such as Egyptian superstar Amr Diab, International rapper French Montana, and Dimitri Vegas.
It was set to run from October 15 to December 15, now it will run till January 2020 upon the wishes of the Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense.
The Riyadh season featuring a wide range of artistic, sporting and cultural events, including theater performances, concerts, and fashion shows.
It is one of the Saudi Seasons’s launched to transform the country into one of the world’s most important tourist and entertainment destinations that supports Saudi Vision 2030.
This is not the first "Aladdin" production we witness this year, a live-action of Disney’s 1992 animated film “Aladdin” was premiered in May.
Aladdin co-stars Naomi Scott, Will Smith, and Mena Massoud, Billy Magnussen, Alan Tudyk, Nasim Pedrad, Marwan Kenzari, Numan Acar, Frank Welker, Navid Negahban, Navid Negahban, Ocean Navarro, Kamil Lemieszewski, Sophie Carmen-Jones, and Adam Collins.
It is directed by John August, who co-wrote its script with Guy Ritchie.
The plot revolves around the poor market boy who, with a little help from a genie in a lamp, marries Princess Jasmine.
