Ahly's Players Awarded $3,000 after Claiming Champions League Title

Al Ahly board of directors decided on Sunday to grant every player in the squad $3,000 after claiming the CAF Champions League title on Saturday.

Al Ahly crushed 10-man Kaizer Chiefs with three clean goals to claim the trophy for the second consecutive time and tenth overall.

Moroccan reports claimed on Sunday that Al Ahly of Egypt, the CAF Champions League holders, will clash against Morocco's Raja, the Confederation Cup champion in September in CAF Super Cup.

The Red Devils claimed their second Champions League title for the second consecutive time and their 10th time overall after crushing Kaizer Chiefs with three clean goals.

Raja will enter the Super Cup as the Confederation Cup holders after defeating JS Kabylie 2-1.

According to "Al Botola" newspaper, the Super Cup will take place either on September 24, 25 or 26.

It is worth mentioning that Al Ahly won the last edition of the Super Cup after defeating Renaissance of Berkane 2-0.
