Ahly edge closer towards League's leadership after defeating Ismaily 2-0

Two goals from Badr Banoun and Salah Mohsen granted Al Ahly a 2-0 win over Ismaily to move closer to the Egyptian Premier League's top spot.

The Moroccan player had broken the silence for the Red Devils in the 72nd minute, when converted from a penalty spot, after stepping up and sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.

In the 88th minute, Salah Mohsen added the second for the African Champion he received a well-played assist from Marawan Mohsen, as he went on a one-to-one position, curling the ball from a very close range to the right corner.

The Red Devils are now in the third spot with three-point difference from Zamalek as Al Ahly still have two delayed matches.
