After Murder Case, Nancy Ajram Accused of Song Theft (Video)

Iraqi artist Ronny Dawood on Saturday accused Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram of stealing his song lyrics, melody, and chords for her new music video dubbed Albi Ya Albi “My Heart oh my heart”.

Dawood wrote in a Facebook post that his song, which opens with the same words, was released five months ago, adding that he has evidence that proves his charges against the Lebanese singer.

This is Ajram's first single after she stopped performing following the attempted home invasion on January 5.

The Lebanese recording artist’s life has been living a hectic month after her husband, Dr. Fadi El-Hachem, killed an armed trespasser named Mohamed Hassan Moussa who attempted to invade their villa in Sehaileh, Keserwan District.

Dr. El-Hachem was charged with “intentional murder”, after shooting a man who he claimed was armed when he broke into their home and threatened the family.

Dr. El Hachem was initially detained by authorities but later released after reviewing the surveillance cameras and evidence, confirming that what the latter had done was a legitimate act of self-defense.

He, after that, was taken to Al-Hayat Hospital for treatment amid concerns for his mental health after the fatal shooting of a 30-year-old robber.

Ajram sustained a minor injury in her right leg, but the other family members were safe.

A number of newspapers and websites claimed that Dr. El Hachem has been arrested after the investigation found him guilty of manipulating the break-in footage, which went viral on social media platforms, showing the attacker pointing his gun and shooting at him.

Then the footage cut to the assailant making his way to one of the rooms in the house only to be met with the doctor, who chases the intruder, named Mohammed Hassan Al Moussa before shooting him.

The Lebanese MTV satellite channel revealed what has happened inside Nancy Ajram house- the intruder was holding one of Ajram’s handbags, asking for money. The doctor complied, giving him cash from his jacket, but then Al Moussa asked: “Where is the gold? Don’t make me hurt you. Call your wife.”
