After 6 -Year- Suspension .. 1st Russian Flight Arrives in Egypt- VIDEO

Hurghada International Airport received this morning, Monday, the first flight of the national company, EgyptAir, coming from the Russian capital, Moscow,  with 300 Russian tourists on board, marking the start of a new phase for the return of Russian tourism to the cities of Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh.

This comes within the framework of the resumption of Russian air traffic to the Egyptian tourist cities, and in light of the efforts of the  Ministry of Civil Aviation in coordination with all concerned authorities to revitalize the incoming tourism movement to Egypt.

In this context, Amr Aboul-Enein, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company, confirmed that for the first time, EgyptAir operates regular direct flights between Moscow and both Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh airports, coinciding with the decision to resume tourist flights between Egypt and Russia, in addition to daily flights between Cairo and Moscow, which contributes significantly to providing new services and travel options that attract more travelers and tourists from Russia to Egypt.

He added that EgyptAir will operate 4 direct flights per week from Moscow to Hurghada. It will also operate 3 direct flights per week from Moscow to Sharm El-Sheikh, which can accommodate up to 301 passengers.
