The Africa Prosperity Network (APN), in partnership with KPMG, has announced the opening of nominations for the Africa Prosperity Champions Awards (APCA) 2026, celebrating exceptional Africans and partners of Africa who are driving the continent’s unity, innovation, and economic growth.

The prestigious awards will be presented at the Africa Prosperity Champions Awards & Presidential Gala Dinner on 6 February 2026, at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra, as the grand finale of the Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) 2026.

Now in their second edition, the APCAs honour individuals and organisations whose leadership and innovation are advancing the Agenda 2063 vision of “The Africa We Want” — a unified, prosperous, and self-reliant continent.

The 2026 awards come under the theme “Empowering SMEs, Women and Youth for Africa’s Single Market: Innovate. Collaborate. Trade.” and will shine a spotlight on those transforming Africa’s business landscape through industry, creativity, sustainability, and inclusion.

“These awards are more than recognition — they are a celebration of those building the Africa we want through innovation, resilience, and vision,” said Nana Adjoa Hackman, Chair of the APCA Planning Committee and Director at APN.

Andrew Akoto, Country Managing Partner for KPMG, emphasized the importance of the initiative, saying: “We are proud to support APN in honouring the visionaries shaping Africa’s economic future. Their work is essential to unlocking the potential of the AfCFTA and creating a truly integrated, prosperous continent.”

Nominations are open globally from 10 November to 30 November 2025. Individuals, companies, and organisations may submit up to three entries, accompanied by a short justification of up to 500 words
