Africa Investment Forum 2019 to Kick Off in Cairo

African Development Bank ''AfDB'', in collaboration with the African Export Import Bank ''Afreximbank'' will hold Africa Investment Forum 2019, in Cairo on Monday; it is seeking to encourage investment opportunities within various fields, especially in light of the continent’s technological transformation.

The forum will serve as a wide-ranging arena for both the private and government sector represented by ministries and institutions, and the private sector represented by businessmen and financiers expected to participate in projects at the national and private levels in Egypt and African countries.

On other hand, the event will be attended by Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr, AfDB's country Manager of Egypt Malinne Blomberg, Director and Global Head Advisory and Capital Markets Afreximbank Ibrahim Sagna, Lead Investment Relations Officer of the Africa Investment Forum Patrick McGee and the Egyptian Industries Federation President Mohamed Zaki El-Swedy.

Noteworthy, Egypt is a starting point and center for prospects of investment and development in African continent, therefore it will be the first stop in project presentation and discussions are expected to be achieved at the regional level.
