Seven civilians were killed as a blast hit the Guzargah area, Kabul, according to a number of Afghani media outlets.
The target appeared to be a mini-bus carrying civilian government employees of the census department.
Details on the nature of the blast are unclear. No group has claimed responsibility for the explosion.

Authorities heightened security and close roads near the blast site.
It is worth mentioning that, the Taliban militant group has conducted scores of targeted attacks against civilians and military officials in recent years. The armed outfit considers anyone working for the government, NATO, and U.S.-led troops as a target.
