A number of liberated women movements in Kabul have demonstrated against the Taliban's restrictions and infringements upon women's rights in Afghanistan.

Despite the Taliban's commitment to the UN and international community, in particular in security sector reform, electoral system reform, the promotion of women's rights, and the high rate of literacy in adults, several infringements upon women's rights and interests took place in Kabul.

Persistent violations of women's rights and fundamental freedoms on religious or cultural grounds, such as those taking place in Afghanistan, demonstrated the unethical manners of the Taliban extremist movement, according to geopolitical experts.

It's worth mentioning that a number of domestic media organizations reported some of their journalists were detained and beaten for covering the rally.
