Adele’s surprising transformation has been all over the news these past few weeks and there is no denying that everyone wants to know her weight loss secret. So, here it is:
It’s called the Sirtfood Diet and it focuses on increasing your intake of the healthy sirtfoods. Sirtfoods are foods high in the sirtuin activators, Sirtuins are a type of protein that protect the cells from dying and inflammation but research also show that sirtuins help in regulating the metabolism, increasing the muscle and burning fat.
It was found that certain plant compounds may be able to increase the sirtiuns level in the body and here is a list of some of the foods containing these compounds:
• Kale
• Strawberries
• Onions
• Soy
• Parsley
• Extra virgin olive oil
• Dark chocolate (85% cocoa)
• Matcha green tea
• Turmeric
• Walnuts
• Medjool dates
• Blueberries
• Coffee

The Sirtfood Diet plan consists of two phases that last a total of three weeks. Phase one lasts for a week during which you decrease your calorie intake to 1000 calories a day, drink three sirtfood green juices a day and eat one sirtfood rich meal a day.
Phase two lasts two weeks during which you increase your calorie intake to 1500 calories a day, drink two sirtfood green juices a day and eat two sirtfood rich meals a day.

Even though the Sirtfood Diet has showed great weight loss results and is being used by different celebrities like Adele and Lorraine Pascale, it is not backed up by enough research. So, make sure to consult your physician before following it. Stay Home, Stay Safe!!
