British singer-songwriter Adele has shared her first Instagram post in 2020, which featured her in a totally new look.

In the picture, Adele was seen standing outside her home as she celebrates her birthday in lockdown on Tuesday.

The British singer-songwriter looked dazzling in a little black dress as she looked at the camera with a big smile on her face. She wore her hair down and completed the look with a pair of black heels.

“Thank you for the birthday love. I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time,” she wrote on Instagram.

A fan wrote: “Can you believe this is Adele?”, while another added: “Wheres is Adele?,”, while some stated that the singer's previous figure was just as beautiful and that she did not have to lose weight.

Many also took the seized the opportunity to beg Adele for some new music.

“Our birthday gift should be an Adele 2020 album, yes?!,” wrote a fan, while another added: “Honey You can’t just show up like this and say nothing! We need new music!”

Check out how the twitterers reacted below:

In February, she announced her intention to release her new album, probably titled 30, later this year.

The "Somebody like you" singer had declared the news during a wedding party, in which she was both the performer and officiant for her best friend Laura Dockrill.

While speaking on stage, Adele told the attendee to “expect my album in September”.

Several sources close to the notoriously private star break silence over the singer’s return, revealing that the British icon is doing better than ever, focusing on her family, and gearing up to release new music.

“The star has bounced back from her porce heartbreak and is very cheerful these days,” multiple sources told People Magazine in 2019.

Adele has filed for porce from her estranged husband Simon Konecki, following their separation back in April 2019.

The 31-year-old star marriage was short-lived, but it resulted in the birth of her son, Angelo, in 2012.

The filing was made in California, where she and Simon have had a home since 2016.

She married Konecki – an investment banker turned charity boss – in 2016 after five years of dating.

They married in secret and Adele first addressed the wedding publicly during an acceptance speech at the 2017 Grammys, where she thanked her “husband”.
