"El Zaeem" Adel Emam's 1999 play "Bodyguard", will debut on a digital platform after 21 years.
Turki Al-Shikh, the chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced the news on Monday on social media.
The play is written by Youssef Maati and directed by Rami Emam. It marks Emam's last stage performance, which took place between 1999 and 2010.
"Bodyguard" also starred Ezzat Abu Auf, Mustafa Metwally, Saeed Abdul-Ghani, and Sherine Seif El-Nasr.
On August 5, 2000, Metwally died of a heart attack at the age of 51, after the end of the play at the Al-Haram Theater.
